YEREVAN. – Armenia’s Government will discuss Thursday the ruling coalition’s Republican Party of Armenia’s National Assembly Faction leader Galust Sahakyan’s proposal to make changes in the Law “On the Procedure of Calculation of Time in Armenia,” Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.   

“This is that law whereby the clocks are switched back and forward in Armenia every spring and fall. Galust Sahakyan proposes that this law be declared null and void altogether, but the Government insists that solely the provision on switching the clocks back and forward be removed from the Law. If this proposal is approved, we will no longer switch the clocks forward, in spring, and back, in fall,” Haykakan Zhamanak daily writes.
