YEREVAN. - The Armenian army does have problems and they are many and everybody from the head of MOD to the officers realizes that, the head of parliamentary committee on defense and national security Hrayr Karapetyan announced during a press conference on Thursday. The press conference was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Armenian army. The army day will be celebrated in Armenia on Saturday.

According to him, due to the current economic condition it is not possible to establish the necessary conditions in the army yet. The MP also pointed out the importance to investigate the death cases of soldiers during peace in detail. He informed that the Military prosecutor and the MOD Investigation Service have received questions from the MPs, half of which have been answered and the other half is expected.
