Tajikistan has repatriated over 4,000 students to prevent them from joining terrorist organizations, the chairman of Tajikistan’s State Committee for National Security, Saymumin Yatimov, said at the Third CIS Conference on Countering Terrorism and Extremism in Dushanbe.
“In order to prevent their involvement with terrorist and extremist groups, more than 4,000 Tajik students, who had been targeted by terrorist organizations and foreign religious educational institutions, were returned to their homeland,” he stated.
