The Yahoo! Inc. company filed a lawsuit in the court of San Jose accusing Facebook Inc of  infringing on company’s patents. The company requires to prohibit the use of technologies and to compensate the damage triple.

The representatives of Facebook reported that they heard about the suit with regret and were disappointed.

The experts call this the first big bout of technology companies in social networks, Kommersant reports.
