YEREVAN.- Armenian presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan is not going to participate in the vote. He will be physically unable to go to the polling station, Ghuksyan told reporters on Saturday.

According to him, after the election, he and his associates will declare civil disobedience. At the same time he refused to comment on campaigns of other six presidential candidates.

“Fake elections exclude possibility for public to determine the future of Armenia and the outcome will not reflect the true situation in the country. Every citizen must decide for himself whether he must participate in the vote. There is no guarantee that the actual results will be announced,” he said.

Andreas Ghukasyan has been on hunger strike since January 21.
