You can’t buy such a luxurious mansion with any salary in the Republic of Armenia, Chief of Police Valeri Osipyan on Thursday told reporters.

He noted this when asked whether it is possible to purchase a luxurious mansion with the salary of Armenia’s police chief, just like preceding chief of police Vladimir Gasparyan has done.

“As to how it was purchased or built, please ask him—the constructor, or the proprietor,” Osipyan added.

As reported earlier, the Special Investigation Service of Armenia has filed a criminal case involving ex-Chief of Police Vladimir Gasparyan, and based on an article regarding his $3mn worth mansion.
