We attach importance to advisory opinions and recommendations and professional assistance, but we will decide what our country needs and doesn’t need. This is what Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ararat Mirzoyan told journalists today, touching upon the well-known protocol of the Venice Commission stating that there is no need for vetting in Armenia.

“It is a protocol on consideration. There is no opinion or decision. We are not dealing with a decision. If there is such a decision, we will be able to comment on it. We highly respect all international organizations,” the parliamentary speaker said.
