CHOLPON ATA. – The Eurasian Intergovernmental Council session in narrow format is underway Friday in Cholpon Ata, Kyrgyzstan. From Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan, and Minister of Economy Tigran Khachatryan are participating in this meeting, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reported from Cholpon Ata.

Prior to the start of this session, the heads of governments of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) member countries took a joint photo and toured the shores of Lake Issyk Kul.

The meeting started with the opening remarks by Armenia’s PM Nikol Pashinyan, as head of the country currently chairing the EAEU organizations.

Within the framework of his visit, the Prime Minister of Armenia also met with the President Sooronbay Jeenbekov of Kyrgyzstan.
