YEREVAN. – During the discussion of the draft on approval of the 2019 Yerevan budget execution report of, Mayor Hayk Marutyan referred to the current state of emergency in Armenia to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country.
"There are certain rules that we must adhere to in a state of emergency," he stated, in particular, in his appeal to the people. “In addition to the laws written on paper, there are also unwritten laws that we also must adhere to. The speedy end of today's situation and the speedy end of it all depends on us. It should be acknowledged that not only this virus, but also all viruses had their consequences. We can protect ourselves and, most importantly, think about the other."
At the end, the members of the Yerevan Council of Elders, led by the mayor, applauded the work done by the healthcare workers in recent days.
