The wake of People's Artist of Armenia, renowned composer Artur Grigoryan is taking place at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall in Yerevan.
Grigoryan will be laid to eternal rest Sunday at the Yerevan city pantheon.
By the decision of the Prime Minister of Armenia, a governmental commission—chaired by Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vahram Dumanyan—has been set up to organize Arthur Grigoryan's funeral.
Grigoryan died Friday at the age of 63—and after a long illness.
