oday is the 154th anniversary of the birth of great Armenian poet Hovhannes Tumanyan.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia has launched a number of events on this occasion and the holiday of giving books.
As part of these events, a guard of honor has been assigned at the statue of Hovhannes Tumanyan at Liberty Square in downtown Yerevan.
