BRUSSELS. – The ninth plenary session of the negotiations was held in Brussels on Thursday on Armenia-EU Association Agreement. Armenian deputy FM Zohrab Mnatsakanyan headed the Armenian delegation, while Director for Eastern European Countries, Southern Caucasus and Central Asia at the general administration of EU Foreign Relations Gunar Vigand headed the EU side during the negotiations. 

The sides were satisfied with the fact that 24 chapters of future agreement on economic, financial and other fields were negotiated and temporarily closed, MFA informs.

The plenary session was followed by the negotiations on preparatory meeting on Association Agreement’s Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Area (DCFTA).
