As a rule, Armenian women begin sexual life after getting married while men start a lot earlier, the report of Armenia’s National Statistics’ Service reports.
Men of ages between 30-49 are having sex for the first time at the age of 20.1, which is 5 years earlier than their marriage age.
The average age for women beginning sexual life is 21.1, for men it is 20.2.
The average marriage age for women of the 25-49 age group was 21.1, for man of 30-49 age group it was 25.8. The higher education level one has, the later s/he gets married. The average marriage age for educated woman is 24, for those who have only secondary education it is 19.5.
