YEREVAN. The President of Armenia and Commander in Chief of the Armenian Armed Forces, Serzh Sargsyan, paid a visit to the MOD on Friday.

The President listened to the reports delivered by the Defense Minister and the Armed Forces Chief of the General Staff. They presented the overall politico-military situation in the past months, the situation at the Armenian-Azerbaijani line of contact, the development trends, and the measures toward maintaining peace at the border, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am. 

Serzh Sargsyan instructed the tightening of military watch at the line of contact between Armenian and Azerbaijani armed forces, and the launching of continuous measures to raise combat-readiness and discipline.
