An Armenian church and school were attacked in Syria’s Homs. The attackers were representatives of the Syrian opposition, Nouvelle d`Armenie reports.

The representative of local Armenian community Nazareth Elmadjian said the Isahakian school attacked by the opposition belongs to the Armenian Apostolic Church.  

The school is located in Hamidia district of Homs which is mainly populated by Arab Christians. The opposition forces ransacked the school and church, turning them into hospital and place of rest.

The Syrian army is not attacking the district because of many civilians.
