Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan issued an address to the 39th Session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC).

The message notes that Armenia underscores the activities by international organizations, that parliamentary diplomacy has a special place today in interstate relations, and the establishment of interparliamentary dialogue is essential.

“Armenia is convinced that it solely by way of expanding regional cooperation, deblockage of closed borders, [and] stimulating multi-domain interaction that mutual trust can be achieved, and this will serve as basis for resolving all problems through peaceful and compromised methods. The PABSEC’s role becomes important in this context, too,” the President’s address specifically reads.

“We are united by the joint objectives toward deepening political discourse, expanding trade and economic ties, [and] securing the welfare of our peoples. Armenia will continue to take steps toward deepening this cooperation, and it will welcome any initiative toward the formation of a climate of mutual trust in the region,” Armenian President’s message also reads in particular.
