YEREVAN. – Armenian Police Criminal Investigation Department agents and capital city Yerevan’s Zvartnots International Airport law enforcement officers took under custody Gagik Mesrobyan, 47, at the Airport on Wednesday at 4:30pm.

Mesrobyan was wanted internationally by Lithuanian law enforcement, ever since 2007, on charges of influencing a witness, the Police Press Service informs. 

Separately, Charentsavan city police detained Khachik Khachatryan, 36, from a building, on the same day but at 10am. He was wanted, ever since May 30, on charges of battery.
