GYUMRI. – According to rumors circulating in Armenian City of Gyumri, Andranik Khachatryan, ex-chief of Gyumri’s Urban Development Department, the son-in-low of Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) member Artashes Sargsyan, was shot on Sunday in Gyumri, Aravot.am reports.

In order to find out more about the incident, Armenian News-NEWS.am contacted Chief of Shirak’s Police Department Colonel Karen Babakhanyan. He informed that he himself found out about the incident a few minutes ago. According to him, they cannot start any investigation as they have not got an incident registration, but the rumors will be investigated. Artashes Sargsyan denied the information.

“People talk what they want in this city,” he said.

To note, according to rumors, Andranik Khachatryan owns Pegas shop in Downtown Yerevan.
