YEREVAN. – Ecuador’s newly-appointed Ambassador to Armenia, Patricio Alberto Chávez Zavala—whose diplomatic residence is in Moscow—, presented his credentials to Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Wednesday.

The President congratulated the Ambassador for commencing his diplomatic mission in Armenia and wished him success. Also, Sargsyan stressed that Armenia looks toward developing ties with Ecuador and expressed a hope that an active cooperation would be formed, the President’s Press Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.   

In his turn, Ambassador Patricio Alberto Chávez Zavala noted that he already met with representatives from Armenia’s ministries and departments and from the science and education sector. He assured that he will do his utmost, during his tenure, to develop relations between Armenia and Ecuador.
