Vatan daily of Turkey wrote about the cause for deploying Turkish military units at the border with Syria, following Syria’s downing a Turkish F-4 reconnaissance jet, and noted that Turkey is getting ready to create a buffer zone in Syria.  

It is noted that the Turkish Armed Forces General Staff is planning on creating a buffer zone in Syria’s Qamishli city as well as in Deir ez-Zor (Ter Zor), which is an open cemetery for hundreds of thousands of Armenians who were massacred by Ottoman Turkey in 1915.      

And in connection with this matter, the British Daily Telegraph wrote that Turkey’s several demands have surprised NATO members.
