YEREVAN. – The European Council is concerned with the slow negotiation process of the settlement of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue, President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy told Armenpress News Agency.

“I learned with great concern about the incidents on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and contact line. I am deeply sorry for the losses of lives. The EU has expressed readiness to support the OSCE MG in creating trust means many times,” he said. “We also support the creation of a mechanism investigating the violations of the ceasefire proposed by OSCE.”
