YEREVAN. – Armenian Minister of Agriculture, Sergo Karapetyan, on Friday received a delegation from the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), led by Matthew Kahane.

The Minister expressed a satisfaction over FAO’s activities being carried out in Armenia.

“The track-record that is accumulated here recalls us that procedural simplification will enable to attain greater results,” Karapetyan noted, the Agriculture Ministry press service informs.

In his turn, Kahane informed that the delegation members held around one-hundred meetings, examined sixteen projects, and visited the regions in Armenia.

Also, the FAO representative assessed the projects implemented in the years past as positive and effective, during which, as per Matthew Kahane, more Armenian experts were engaged in the implementation of FAO projects.

At the end of the meeting, Sergo Karapetyan expressed a hope that relations between FAO and Armenia’s Ministry of Agriculture will be continuous.
