YEREVAN. – Armenia and Swaziland have established diplomatic relations.

The joint statement on establishment of diplomatic relations was signed on Friday by Garen Nazarian, Permanent Representative of Armenia to the United Nations, and Zwelethu Mnisi, Permanent Representative of the Kingdom of Swaziland to the United Nations.

During the meeting preceding the signing ceremony, envoys underscored importance of promoting bilateral cooperation and intensification of contacts within the UN.     

The Kingdom of Swaziland is situated in southern Africa and is bordering South Africa to the west and Mozambique to the east.
