YEREVAN. – The Friedrich Ebert Stiftung (FES) and the Armenian National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee on Foreign Relations will hold joint parliamentary hearings devoted to the foreign policy of Armenia.   

Such agreement was reached during Wednesday’s talk between chairman Artak Zakaryan of the aforementioned committee, and Julia Bläsius, FES Regional Director for South Caucasus, the NA press service informs. 

The interlocutors also underscored the role of Armenia’s parliament in the foreign policy of the country. 

In addition, they discussed the prospects for regional cooperation, and spoke about Armenian-Turkish, Armenian-Azerbaijani, Armenian-Iranian, and Armenian-Georgian relations.

Furthermore, the FES Regional Director for South Caucasus expressed a willingness to deepen cooperation.
