YEREVAN. – The Armenian-Russian relations are developing dynamically, and this enables to identify new domains of cooperation and to diversify economic relations.  

Armenia’s Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan, who is also co-chair of the Armenian-Russian Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation, noted the aforesaid Saturday. Sargsyan stated this during his talk with Russian Federation Minister for Transportation, Maxim Sokolov, who likewise is co-chair of the abovementioned commission.    

In his turn, Sokolov noted that such talks are a good opportunity for summing up the activities and discussing the future plans. Also, he thanked Armenia’s PM and the Armenian partners for the understanding and the productive work.  

The interlocutors discussed the bilateral trade and economic partnership. In addition, the parties reached an agreement on convening the next aforesaid commission session this fall, in Saint Petersburg, Russia. 

At the end of the talk, Tigran Sargsyan and Maxim Sokolov formally signed the protocol on the results of the discussion.
