YEREVAN. – Armenian stores must meet requirements on return or exchange of goods, head of Armenian NGO said.

Babken Pipoyan, chairman of Informed and Protected Consumer NGO, noted that the inscriptions "no return or exchange of goods" in Armenian stores contradict law on protection of consumer rights. Even high-quality good can be returned and exchanged.

The right to return applies to non-food products if there is cash receipt and package is not damaged. The consumer has right to request an exchange of goods if he cannot use it  because of the shape, dimension and other features.

The good can be exchanged within 14 days.
