YEREVAN. – The soldiers who have served at the frontlines will receive tuition fee discounts when they continue their education in the future.

Armenian Minister of Defense Seyran Ohanyan said the aforementioned during his talk Thursday with the students, and along the lines of his visit to the Yerevan State Medical University.

“We have come to an agreement with the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) that the soldiers who have served at the frontlines—especially, the Yerevan State Medical University students—receive benefits; that is, their tuition fee will be discounted.

“The relevant MES person in charge said that the discounts are in effect. What remains is that we present the list of those who have served at the frontlines,” the minister stated.
