YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 472.37/$1 in Armenia on Thursday; this is up by AMD 0.42 from Wednesday.
The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 511.34 (up by AMD 0.72), that of one British pound was AMD 699.11 (up by AMD 3.38), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 8.31 (up by AMD 0.23), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.
One gram of silver, gold, and platinum amounted to AMD 251.55, AMD 17,987.33, and AMD 17,108.43, respectively.
Thursday’s trading totaled USD 250,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 473.75/$1, and the trading session closed likewise at AMD 473.75/$1.
