YEREVAN. – The American national currency (USD) exchange rate against the Armenian dram (AMD) was AMD 476.34/$1 in Armenia on Friday; this is up by AMD 0.79 from Thursday.

The exchange rate for one euro was AMD 505.68 (down by AMD 5.11), that of one British pound was AMD 698.17 (down by AMD 5.88), and the rate of one Russian ruble was AMD 9.43 (up by AMD 0.38), informed the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia.

One gram of silver, gold and platinum amounted to AMD 249.63, AMD 18,297.99 and AMD 17,795.66, respectively.

Friday’s trading totaled USD 4,300,000 at NASDAQ OMX Armenia stock exchange. The transactions were conducted at an average exchange rate of AMD 476.91/$1, and the trading session closed at AMD 476.8/$1.
