YEREVAN. – A criminal case was opened based on the complaint filed by an Armenia woman who said she and her daughter had been detained before the press conference of famous musician Serj Tankian.
On April 25 Narine G. and her daughter planned to participate in a press conference of Serj Tankian that was held in a hotel in downtown Yerevan. However, police officers pushed them out of the hotel by using violence.
According to press office of the Special Investigation Service, police officer pushed her to the police car and transported to Kentron police department where they spent around three hours.
