Armenia is the second on economic growth among CIS states as of Jan.-May 2010.

A 9.7% GDP growth was registered in Kyrgyzstan, 8.8% - in Armenia, whereas 7.1% - in Kazakhstan. Armenia’s neighbors registered average GDP growth, Azerbaijan – 4.3% and Georgia – 4.5% (information as of Jan.-March is provided by Georgia’s statistical service). Russia’s economic growth reached 2.9%, being the lowest indicator among CIS states.
