YEREVAN. – Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR) military servicemen Edgar Martirosyan and Gor Darmanyan have been discharged from hospital. 

Artsrun Hovhannisyan, the Press Secretary of the Minister of Defense of Armenia, told the abovementioned to Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The two Armenian soldiers were wounded on March 19 while defending against an Azerbaijani military infiltration attempt.

Hovhannisyan added that Martirosyan and Darmanyan are feeling better already.

Director of the Armenian Ministry of Defense Central Clinical Military Hospital in Yerevan, the capital city of Armenia, Aram Asaturyan, earlier told us that Gor Darmanyan will be transferred to a rehabilitation center.

An enhanced team from Azerbaijan’s special military detachment had launched an attack, on March 19 at around 8:30am, on the NKR Defense Army positions stationed in a northerly (Gyulistan) direction. 

As a result of the skirmish that lasted about two hours, however, the Armenian military position holders and the relief forces compelled the adversary to flee. Subsequently, they pursued the said Azerbaijani military team and completely crushed them nearby their own military position.            

Unfortunately, NKR Defense Army servicemen Hakob Khachatryan (born in 1996), Eduard Hayrapetyan (born in 1995), and Arshak Harutyunyan (born in 1995) had died, and four others were wounded while confronting the adversary. One of these wounded soldiers, Samvel Hakobyan (born in 1995), had died in hospital on March 26.
