Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II conveyed a condolence letter to the French President François Hollande on occasion of the terror attacks in Paris.

The lettter reads:

“Today when our people mark the 100th anniversary of the heroic battle of Musa Dagh and remember the rescue of their sons by the French fleet, along with gratitude we extend our sorrow and condolences to you, the families of the victims and the brotherly nation of France.

We strictly condemn the terror attacks aimed at the innocent French. Terrorism knows no nationality and is aimed against the wellbeing of the world's entire humanity, safe and creative co-existence of people and nations.

We believe that under your leadership the French people must overcome the situation and the pain of loss and must continue their decisive struggle against terrorism to keep the world and the lives of entire humanity devoid of such genocides and crimes.”
