YEREVAN. – The parliaments of the world must fight against genocides and terrorism.
President of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, Galust Sahakyan, on Wednesday told the abovementioned to reporters at NA.
Sahakyan stated this within the framework of his joint briefing with speaker Jan Hamáček of the Chamber of Deputies of the Parliament of the Czech Republic.
“The Armenian people have seen these horrors, and they know what it is,” he stressed.
In his words, during their talks—and in the context of recent events—the parties exchanged views also on the need to combat terrorism.
