YEREVAN. - The constitutional referendum on December 6 will become the most decisive one in the history of Armenia. Samvel Farmanyan, MP of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) said the aforementioned at the agitation campaign attended by supporters and opponents of the constitutional amendments.  The meeting in the framework of the agitation was held in Martuni town of Armenia’s Gegharkunik province.

According to Farmanyan, in case of the semi-presidential form of governance, either the leaders turn into Nazarbayev or Lukashenko, or the society makes a turn and follows the path of democracy. “It’s crystal clear that we are left with the second path, which shouldn’t include lifelong leaders. And this should be achieved through amendments in Constitution and shift to the parliamentary system,” he said.
