YEREVAN. - The process of free distributing of special TV devices to the socially vulnerable families of Armenia will start from mid-January. Following this, Armenia will fully switch from analog broadcasting to the digital one. Grigor Amalyan, Director General at “Television and Radio Broadcasting Network of Armenia” CJSC told the aforesaid to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.

“The devices are already in Yerevan and are now passing customs clearance. I think we will start the process of their distribution from the second half of January,” Amalyan said.

Under the Government decision, 48,733 socially vulnerable families will get free special devices for digital broadcasting.
