YEREVAN. – Several dozen representatives of Feminist Platform Armenia on Tuesday are staging a march in capital city Yerevan, and devoted to International Women’s Day.

“We are fighting so that there will be equality between women and men,” march participant Elvira Meliksetyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am. “[That] the discriminations, which Armenian women face right from birth, are eliminated.”

Feminists from Armenia’s provinces also have joined this march.
