The CIS Interstate Bank, which in due time received 90 percent of Nairit’s shares for the plant’s debts, will not help to look for investors for the enterprise, head of the CIS Interstate Bank representation in Armenia, Vahan Melkonyan, told Armenian News – NEWS.am.

“On 15 December 2015, we transferred the shares [to the Armenian Government]. This topic is now close for us,” Melkonyan said.

In 2006, Armenia sold 90 per cent of Nairit company’s shares to the British Consortium Rhinoville Property Limited for $40 million. Since then the company hasn’t practically appeared before the public or press.
