People do not only provoke the extinction of animals, but also the emergence of new species, says the study was led by the Center for Macroecology, Evolution and Climate at the University of Copenhagen.

The scientists said that it can be promoted by domestication of animals and plants, a casual introduction, unnatural selection as a result of hunting and emergence of new settlements. However, the new species are not able to replace the extinct and maintain the stability of natural systems.

So, mosquitoes settled in the London Underground were adapted to the environment by creating an isolated population, they do not interbreed with other species, which leads to the formation of new species.

Also, the emergence of new species is promoted by the resettlement of species caused by the actions of people that promotes hybridization with local organisms.

It should be noted that since the last Ice Age, 255 mammals and 523 bird species has gone extinct, often due to human activity, however in the same period, humans have relocated almost 900 known species and domesticated more than 470 animals and close to 270 plant species, The Washington Post reported.
