An extensive report, whose cornerstone was Wednesday’s military parade—with the display of new weapons—in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, was aired several times by Russia-24 Russian-state-owned news channel, and on the occasion of the 25th Independence Day anniversary of Armenia.

The report also noted that Armenia is the sole country to which Russia has sold such weapons, albeit many oil-rich countries—apparently referring to Azerbaijan—are waiting for their turn to acquire such weaponry. 

In addition, the report reflected on Russian President Vladimir Putin’s congratulations on Armenia’s National Day, and the preparations for the Independence Generation concert to be held on the same day, in Yerevan.
