Armenian-American relations have been dynamically developing for 25 years, Armenia's Ambassador to U.S. Grigor Hovhannisyan told the Voice of America.
“Although relationship has not been developing at the speed and the pace that I would like to see as an ambassador here, however, there were positive developments. Armenian-American relations have never stayed at the same level. And today, in terms of political contacts, visits, these relations are on the highest level, but it is important to have tangible content. It is necessary to introduce goods, companies, universities in the United States to the public and vice versa,” the Ambassador said.
As compared with other countries, they know about Armenia in U.S., but the diplomat would like to see closed relationship between the two countries. “The United States is home to one quarter of our nation, and they cannot be strangers to us,” he added.
