A three-day planned military exercise of peacekeeping operations was conducted at a training center of the peacekeeping brigade of the Armed Forces of Armenia.

The drills were held within the framework of the NATO Operational Capabilities Concept.

A NATO-standard Level 1 self-assessment also was carried out.

Five hundred servicemen from the Armenian army participated in, and around sixty medical and military equipment and helicopters were used during these exercises.

The self-assessment was carried out with advice and observation by instructors from NATO and the US State of Kansas National Guard.
