Poland's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Andrzej Szejna, said that NATO is discussing the matter of shooting down missiles that fly close to the borders of the North Atlantic Alliance member states. Szejna told the Polish radio station RMF about this.

"NATO is studying various concepts, including the question of shooting down those missiles that are very close to the NATO borders," said the deputy FM of Poland.

On the morning of March 24, the Ministry of National Defense of Poland had stated that a cruise missile launched by the Russian long-range aviation had violated Polish airspace.
