YEREVAN. – I hope that there will be no further obstacle ahead of the signing of the agreement between Armenia and the European Union (EU).

Polish Ambassador to Armenia, Jerzy Marek Nowakowski, said the abovementioned at a press conference on Wednesday.

The diplomat recalled that Deputy Foreign Minister Garen Nazarian, who represents Armenia in the respective negotiations with the EU, had expressed the hope that this document will be signed in the near future.

“Poland collaborates,” stated Nowakowski. “And we [i.e. Poland] also hope that the agreement will be signed and ratified by the end of the year.”

The seventh phase in the negotiations on the EU-Armenia framework agreement is slated for December.
