Central Tokyo observed the season's first snow on Thursday, marking the first snowfall for November in 54 years, NHK reported.

Weather officials specified that the fist November snow was observed at 6:15 AM in the center of the city.

Besides, it snowed in the cities of Yokohama, Kofu, Utsunomiya, Maebashi and Mito.

According to weather forecasters, Tokyo can have 2 centimeters of snow to Friday morning that, in turn, lead to deterioration of the traffic situation in the Japanese capital.
