YEREVAN. - During the fall session of NATO’s Parliamentary Assembly the Azerbaijani delegates tried to show that Armenia has allegedly “occupied” their territory.

Deputy of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) faction, Koryun Nahapetyan, who is also the head of the Armenian delegation to the NATO Parliamentary Assembly and Chairman of the parliamentary Committee on Defense, National Security and Internal Affairs, said the aforementioned at the press-conference on Friday.

In his words, the members of the Azerbaijani delegations tried to create an impression that the Karabakh issue is a problem of territorial integrity. “To this the NATO Secretary General gave a precise answer: the North Atlantic Alliance has nothing to do with the Karabakh conflict settlement. It was the first time Jens Stoltenberg stressed that the NATO-Armenia and NATO-Azerbaijan relations are in no way related to the Karabakh conflict,” Nahapetyan said.
