YEREVAN. – A law on medical ethics needs to be adopted in Armenia, Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan said at Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

In this connection, he instructed Minister of Health, Levon Altunyan, to prepare such a bill within 20 days.

As per the PM, this document shall specify the norms of medical ethics as well as the accountability, should these norms are violated.  

In addition, Karapetyan commissioned Altunyan to study the legal framework of Armenia’s medical drug market.
