YEREVAN. - The Tax Code of Armenia may change in the future.

Prime Minister of Armenia Karen Karapetyan hinted the aforementioned to the media representatives Monday.

“The Tax Code was our responsibility before certain financing institutions. Of course, we had worked on this Code for a long time and it was our responsibility to adopt it in certain period of time. The Tax Code isn’t a bad document. The Code caused dissatisfaction among businessmen, who work in the white market and whose taxes have grown. In the future, yes, we will wok on the Tax Code,” the PM said.

The newly adopted Tax Code sparked great dissatisfaction among business circles. Rumors are circulated that many of those included in Karapetyan’s team were against its adoption.
