The Polish translation of The Book of Whispers by Romanian-Armenian writer Varujan Vosganian is one of the significant books of 2016, the book review of Polish portal Kultura Online reads.

In 2016, the book won the Angelus Central European Literature Award.  “The view is presented in a very personal dimension here. This is manifested even by the title of the book. Through the story about his childhood, he tries to preserve the disappearing traditions and culture,” the portal writes.
