YEREVAN. – The parliamentary election to be conducted in Armenia in early April will be diverse and colorful in terms of participants, but colorless—in terms of content, according to 168 Zham (Hours) newspaper.

“The election blocs that are already known today—and are outlined—fit and will fit within the framework of the same ‘line,’ almost completely. First and foremost, this is about the foreign policy direction, which comes to being either at least as much as the authorities of Armenia, or more pronounced [pro-]Russian, in the case of virtually all.

“All the problems [in Armenia] and their derivatives are the result of the absence of a foreign political choice.

“Thus, in the next two and a half months, the election agenda will be filled with everything except the most important [thing]. Those running in the elections have realized, or have been made to realize, that they can and should speak about everything except the need for eliminating the dependency Armenia has on Russia,” wrote 168 Zham.
